Access Cards & FOBs
The building is equipped with an electronic access card system, which controls and monitors access includes, but is not limited to the following:
Upon move in, Building Management will provide each Tenant with access cards for their employees at a ratio of 4 cards per 1,000 rentable square feet of premises. If Tenant requires more access cards upon move in or at a later date, cards will be available at the current rate. See the Billing Rates - Service Request located on the Forms page. All requests for access cards (additions, changes, deletions) must be provided 48 hours in advance and by an authorized employee of Tenant via request in Property Direct. There is no charge to Tenant for making changes to an existing access card. Rotating or visitor access cards may be obtained for limited use/access. Contact Building Management to discuss details.
The access cards are assigned to each specific individual as requested by the Tenant. Each employee is responsible for his/her own access card. It is the Tenant’s responsibility to notify Building Management office of necessary name changes, additions or deletions to and from the access card system. Transfer of access cards among employees without prior notification and approval by Building Management is prohibited. This helps to ensure the access system is kept up to date with accurate information in the event of an emergency, suspicious activities, or tenant requests.
If an employee loses his/her access card, please immediately report it to Building Management office or Building Security to ensure the security of the building and all tenants. When an access card is reported lost or stolen, access is immediately removed from the access card system, rending it useless for future access. Replacements may be obtained from Building Management. See the Service Request – Billing Rates located on Property Direct or contact Building Management for the current rate.
A printed record of Tenant’s employees' assigned access card or access card use detailing times, doors opened, and dates (for a limited period of dates) may be obtained from Building Management office. Each Tenant may request one complimentary report of each per year. Additional reports may be obtained for a fee.
It is important that each Tenant knows which employee is holding a given access card in order to utilize the aforementioned features. All access cards must be returned to Building Management office upon termination or expiration of lease.
Keys, Locks & Access Cards
At the time of move-in, Tenants are provided keys for their suite and the Building entrance. All dispersed keys are the responsibility of the Tenant. Additional keys and/or replacements for lost or stolen keys may be obtained, at the Tenant’s sole cost, by contacting the Management Office.
Tenants are not permitted to install or rekey their own primary locks or any supplemental locks. Should a Tenant require changes to the locks for their suite, Building Management must be notified in writing and the work performed under its direction. All changes or repairs will be made at the Tenant’s expense. This procedure must be followed to guarantee the Fire Department access to all areas of the Building and ensuring the uniformity of the master key for emergency situations, Building repairs, and janitorial access into the suites.
Please be aware that charges may apply for assistance to unlock a tenant’s door for access, whether during or after business hour (due to someone leaving their keys left at home or inadvertently locked out of office). The charge, if applicable, will be dependent upon the availability of staff to assist with employee’s request.Telephone, Electrical and Mechanical room keys will not to be distributed to tenants. For security purposes, access to the rooms is granted by the Building Management office. Whenever possible, please contact for the Building Management office to request access at least 24 hours in advance; so in turn, we may make the appropriate arrangements.
At termination of the lease, Tenant must return all keys to Building Management.
Requests for the above services on a holiday must be in writing to the Building Management office with a minimum of 48 hours of advanced notice. Please note charges may apply. Please see the “Billing Rates - Service Requests” document, located on the "Forms" page (Click here) for the current list of charges.
